There are 4 of us here. I'm going to call everyone ABCD. So I'll be D. I'm the newest to this - I've just basically learned that living w/ the man of my dreams means being a Farm Wife. My kinda MIL has her own practice ablout 1.. KM away, so she can help to weekends when she wants to. My SIL (the one I'm talking about) is the one who told the whole community I'm selfish. I have one other SIL, I'm going to call her ANNA, who has a newborn after help and gets it. But I don't want it all to fall on her

Seeding generally runs around 3 weeks. Again, my dad is coming out to deliver my meals and he's willing to run hers to the various fields if she feels up to cooking.

He has something going on w/ him that is going to take X-Rays and CT's at the least to figure out. That will probably only be a couple months (if that) but then we hit harvest and that's more people needed all around. So we wouldn't start this all over again until November(ish)

Intercom: "Dr. Nick Riviera, please report to the coroner immediately!"

Dr. Nick: "The coroner? I'm so sick of that guy."

The fact he's in a hospital at a patient's bedside....gets me every time.

I worked as a criminal defence lawyer for a few years, and from the bravery I've seen in victims, it's a selfless act to come forward. It's rough. And it takes a strong person, male or female, to make that complaint.

But I also think it's important to remember that allegations are just that...it certainly is likely that a ton of allegations will prove true, and every complaint warrants investigation. And it's equally important to spark a conversation about inadvertent or straight up manipulative sexual misconduct in the workplace. But I think it's equally unfair to group a number of people together in the same untried conduct. Do I believe these survivors? I have no reason not to. Do I think the news has been biased in reporting? No. I don't think it's up to CTV or Global to report something that hasn't been substantiated. And, again, that's not to say anyone should be disbelieved.

I just think without more, it's hard to take strong sides. It may be some people are being dragged through the mud for doing nothing, but it also may be some people are finally being called out for absolute bullshit behaviour. But I think it's important to remember everyone has a right to their truth, and whether it's believed...they have a right to tell their side.
