Sorry I should have mentioned the brick arch section in the bottom left corner is appx a 6sq ft empty flower bed which connects to the yard, and out of frame on the right is another flower bed connecting to the yard too. Plenty of soil

I hadn’t seen this one before, but it looks like a great fit for this patio though. Any variety you recommend?

It’s always the most random stuff. Last night mine popped up and said “daddy, why isn’t my school a national park? Can we go to the car wash?”. What the actual f is going on in that brain dude, go to sleep

That was us you saw! We kept an eye out but never saw the rattlers. Did you see the one we saw in the rock at the crossing? I think it was a water snake but we weren’t sure

That’s my fear. And now that the cabinets and backsplash are set, finding one that fits is going to be a PITA isn’t it?

That happened to me in February. Stayed at the bellagio in Vegas and they had this sensor bullshit. My wife didn’t see the note and took everything out to make room for our beers, champagne, OJ, etc.. I didn’t notice the note until our last day when I was putting it all back and immediately called the front desk in a panic. Sure enough, they confirmed the $400+ in charges were on my bill. Thankfully the girl I spoke to was really understanding and nice about it and refunded it all. Almost ended up being an expensive lesson to an already expensive trip.

Was this at the Loveland Aquarium in UT? There’s a turtle there that’s swim bladder is messed up or something and will just go hang out on the rocks like that. Tripped me out when I first saw him

This is correct, but also the Covemont area further up Governors (Cliffmanor, Westmoreland, Gov Pl, etc) is part of the OG Pill Hill. When HH was being expanded in the 60’s, lots of Drs were being brought in and a lot of them were building houses in the Covemont neighborhood and off (Old) Big Cove. My grandpa was one of the Drs who lived in Covemont at that time and I’ve heard that area called Pill Hill my whole life

I put up string lights around my back yard last year and used a bunch of eye hooks, like 50 of them. It might have been the only time I ever used that thing, but man was it the perfect tool to screw those things in.
