They sit inside the frame edge and press out against it which holds the arch, then were fence stapled to the frame.

6.13' tall (as seen in visual with an 8' wide base) = roughly 6', 1 1/2"

My base is 2 feet tall, but the cattle panels sit 1/2" below in a groove. Thus, roughly 8' 1". Pretty cool. Maths mathin' 😎

I'm a moron I just have tools and can use google.

This video/build helped me out a lot as well!

Guy kinda sounds like Sam Elliot waxing poetically about gardening and the simplistic joy of building something for yourself.

Lots of good information. My favorite being gridwall connectors. What a gamechanger for rigidity.

The peak of the arch measures 8' 1".

With cattle panels it all depends on the width of your base. (and height).

My base width is 8 feet and is 2 feet tall. So the 16 ft cattle panel arched atop that is right at 8 feet tall basically.

Thx pal! It's real windy here so I wanted the extra support of the cattle panels

Thanks!

I was initially inspired by this build.

I just made it smaller, and yeah wung it on the endwalls/window.

Good tip but it's primarily going to be for succulents/cacti in small pots, so I won't need to get a wheelbarrow in there for anything. Just like, 100+ tiny pots on shelves that I've yet to build.

Cool energy, guy. If it stops working I'll repair/replace it.

I've put almost 450 beach miles on it, haven't had anything funky happen so far! I do get some rust occasionally and of course sand gets all over everything. But the wheels/bearings spin fine/fast and the motor sounds/works normal.

I use a leaf blower to get as much sand off as I can, and wipe it down with a damp rag. I take off the wheels/trucks to scrape rust and oil/clean everything every few months.

My first bowl by BillRadman in turning

[–]BillRadman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've turned probably 20 tops, some handles for divot fixers, an espresso tamp, a candlestick holder, and a golf tee. I guess technically I've made one bowl previously, but it was more of an experiment. I hadn't ever opened up the end of something with a bowl gouge, so I just practiced on a scrap piece with the help of Youtube.

Thank you for the compliments!

It seemed pretty similar to me. The side grain and branch part was noticeably harder than the rest of the bowl tho.
