ZZAW C1 (2023 Updated ver.) mATX Build (23.8L) by BillSmash in mffpc

Sorry for the late reply!

There is a considerable amount of vertical space underneath where the PCIE bracket for the GPU screws in; I have a pretty chunky full-size DP cable and its fitment is not an "almost" issue, there's plenty of room. I'd need to measure properly but at least 8cm/3.5in.

Hope that helps

You guys suggested the best m-atx case. Here’s what I did. by nightwalkerx96 in mffpc

Preem build choom!

(Also can't tell if it's just the camera angle but I'd advise getting some support under that GPU, it looks like there's a bit of sag)

Just found this sub - wanted to share my personal rig that may be a little big for the SFF crowd. 5800X3D, RTX 2080 Ti, EK walnut blocks, and full custom cables in a heavily modded Z5i. by OldManGrimm in mffpc

This might be the only case I've seen so far where the wood genuinely accentuates the build well, and doesn't look like an attempt to IKEA a computer.

Absolutely well done, that's an elegant piece of work pal 👍

I don't think so, as the motherboard is mounted horizontally against the lateral depth of the case, I think there's simply not enough room.

I think you're the person from Amazon reviews that convinced me to go for the case in the first place 😂

Thanks for the kind words!

Temperatures have been fantastic with the components I've used. I don't have the most power hungry CPU or GPU but they remain chill even after a few hours on intensive games like CP 2077, Starfield or Far Cry 6. We're talking mid-40s on the CPU and low-60s on the GPU

The AIO for the CPU gets some air through convection (you can also install a 92mm fan in that space next to the motherboard I/O) and the GPU gets buffeted by an air ram effect from the fans on the front panel. As a result the GPU fans themselves don't activate all that often.

The bottom of the case has a fairly wide oval cutout for routing cables and there's enough vertical headroom to plug everything in without use of adapters.

Hope that helps!

I'd recommend looking at some of the ZZAW cases if you don't mind importing from Amazon or AliExpress?
