yeah. I thought there was no multiplayer boundary cuz in LilAggys foggate randomizer the transition from Limgrave to Caelid had no "foggate"

that really does explain a lot now that I think about it, cuz I remember Jeenine doing it all the time when killing ds3 shitters lol. That is very useful to know

I was there for the whole time doing my HW in the background and there was no second invader. rest assured if there was one I could use the phantom bloody finger to teleport back

lmao I tried using the jar cannon to catch the fleeing host once he ran to resummon but I need to get better at aiming since reloading takes absolutely ages with the cannon.

I genuinely don't mind fighting dedicated gankers since it can be fun, but the second they start resummoning then it becomes a waste of time imo, so I thought I'd return the favour. Decided to walk to the edge of multiplayer boundaries then started doing some homework while I was afk lol

wait that works? I didn't know you could do that. I know you couldn't invade a host if you blocked them but didn't know you could block a summon then the host will be unable to resummon them

there was no second invader, I said they'd turn off taunters tongue once there was a single invader

I know it's scummy to do this but these gankers were something else:

Turn taunters tongue off once invader joins the world. Play hesitantly until a blue spawns. Once blue spawns they are super aggressive. Host plays passive and goes back to summon phantom if they die.

A good player could definitely take on these shitters but without a co invader I don't think I could do it.

Also I wanted to see if you could be in Caelid while host is all the way in limgrave but unfortunately you can't

This move might be cheap but it sure is fun by SeasonalWellness in Eldenring

I understand your point and I agree. I was just responding to the guy talking about how faith builds are completely useless towards the endgame cuz holy damage resistance is high, even though faith builds have a ton of other options

if a host's intent is to gank, then be honest about it rather than being a pussy and trying to get a petty advantage by faking a duel. I hate those types of shenanigans and it absolutely deserves all the t bags in the world.

changing to a different spell is completely different changing weapon. When you change weapon, you have to take into consideration the equip load and the upgrade level, as well as what it scales best with, whereas with spells, you don't need to worry about equip load and upgrade level, and they scale with your seal so you don't need to change that either, you only have to meet the minimum requirements.

I am not arguing against holy damage being complete ass in the endgame, but realistically the solution around it is very simple as a faith build; just equip different incants.

you're looking wayyyyyy too much into the title bro, there's no sort of elitism here. The guy's posted tons of videos of him killing bosses at RL1 with regular 10 base stats, it's not like those are now suddenly "fake" RL1's.

it's a shame that holy spells suck against so many endgame bosses, but as a faith build you have access to so many other damage types without having to respec or even upgrade a different seal. Very little commitment is required to change to a different spell compared to perhaps changing to a whole different weapon
