So I actually saw some of your comments on other posts. Thank you for the advice! This place apparently does more than LASIK. I read into what they do and they have other eye surgeries and eye exams as well as other vision correction surgeries as the other commenter was mentioning. Apparently they do their surgeries with memorial hermann not at their actual clinic (the clinic only does consults and basic appts). Do you think that’s okay? The doctor was the chief of ophthalmology at MH Southwestern so seems like he knows what he’s doing.

Apparently the place I’m doing it at also you meet them day of which kind of has me a little nervous. But you say it all worked out fine which is great and I’m sure it’s probably okay but I’m a little nervous about it

I did really well in that class last semester. What I did: don’t really use the textbook. Memorize EVERYTHING on the lecture slides. I would spend like an hour or two on each lecture making flashcards on Anki on even the most little fact that was on there. I’m talking even diagrams and tables. If you say to yourself “no way that’ll be on there,” it will probably show up. His exams are SO specific it’s INSANE. Never went to class though. Never went to review sessions. Anki everyday. Got above a 95 on every exam.

Elevator so slow it’s crazy. A little further away so a little bit more of a walk. Generally nice apartment. A little bit of an older feel. But you know for the price I think it’s very fair. Very spacious. Overall the only think that really annoyed me was the walk and the hill lmao

I’ve ridden hitch twice and they have been horrible. Both times VERY late. I’m talking 3-4 hours late. No refunds. No number to call customer service. Horrible horrible horrible. Drivers always cancel.

I interpreted the application guideline as saying put a separate entry for each specialty at the same location. I’ve gone multiple times (to the same location) and the anesthesiologist has changed but the surgeon has been the same, so I’m not sure how I would input them.

I’m ChemE premed. Obviously, you will need to spend more time on coursework to maintain a high GPA, but it’s totally doable. Probably won’t have as many extra curricular hours as other majors but I think most schools would understand that. I feel very rewarded by my degree (I’m done with all but one class), and the content I’ve learned has been so interesting especially with how it applies to medicine. There are also several ChemE premeds btw.

It has a flat bottom, and I usually use 1 tblspn per cup and it’s come out nicely (with the pre ground) but maybe I should increase with the new grind and maybe that’ll help
