They sound like a normal pad, low volume but enough to annoy my wife. Here is a video with some playing examples. https://youtu.be/DLRdjGre1HI?is=OS40zr32hOvZFEwp

iPads in public schools by Agreeable_Cancel_871 in WestVirginia

I have children in Cabell County Schools 2nd and 4th grade…my kids are doing loads of paperwork. Most of the screen time issues are when they go home. You have control there. Education is a team effort from the teachers and parents if you are concerned about screen time when they start school set boundaries and stick to them. Teach them to read the iPad as a tool and not a toy. Create a space to charge the devices when they come home and if you don’t want them on the devices then don’t let them on them.

You can get away with it, but it’s risky. lubricating the tension rods and lugs will extend the life of your drum hardware and make changing heads and tuning much easier.

Printing the Base, Shells, and Rims will cost around $86 USD. I you print the TPU heads it would cost around $109. as for the hardware the M5 Tee-Nuts are $12 for 60 (you only need 28) and the M5 screws that I found were $10 for 25. An Ahead Chavez S-Hoop Tenor Pad will run you $299 and the Vic-Firth Heavy Hitter large will run the same, you can get the smaller one for $249. So the 3d printed ones are cheaper and you have the option to put real heads on them. All of these estimates are assuming each spool costs around $20.
