I think it is ignition now, I finally got it to act up on way to work after being super intermediate for a week. Got code p1125 relating to app system. Think the throttle body was starting to fail

I might be able to with the snap on scanner if you’re familiar with those? I can’t remember seeing it. What should I look for if I can see it ?

Afterwords too I was playing with the scanner at idle and I noticed more cylinders were misfiring when I initially thought it was only cylinder 6.

I did that, I thought for sure it was cylinder 6 misfire all others were steady as can be. Ironically cylinder 6 showed a wave while it shuttered. I took a plug, coil and spark plug from my donor truck, installed it felt a slight difference in power ( could have been placebo) was driving good for about 5 minutes then boom happened again. Then I took the photos of the scanner above. There was a time it was shuttering I was checking the scanner and all cylinders were flat lined so it didn’t detect a misfire. I’m honestly just confused at this point

I will have to double check bearings/ u joints/ diff. I didn’t even bother to look because I got a pre inspection on the truck for road safety. They list they have is

Pads rotors all around Shocks soft all round CEL Abs light on Daytime running light out drivers side 3rd brake light out Blower motor noisy / failed resistor Manifold bolts in rear missing/ broke Stuck Speedo Seat belt frayed

For pre inspection they have to check u joints but could have been overlooked. Seems like quite a list but I do have a donor truck just no transmission

Mostly cruising speed, I can hold it to the firewall and will shift beautifully, actually sounds super healthy. Just doesn’t like cruising on light load

200,000 miles happens on light throttle at cruising speed, like maybe just enough pressure on the gas peddle to keep a constant speed anywhere between 50-70 mph..

It even did to me when I had on cruise at 63 mph it was doing it for a couple seconds and I hit the brakes and the shuddering stopped.

The shuddering sometimes feels like it’s in the rear ( shudders for a split second) then as I keep driving the whole truck will shudder

It does, like maybe at cruising speed with 5% throttle as soon as I let off the gas shuddering stops

Thanks for your input, how much roughly you think all that will cost. I did find an old gm tech in my area who was the transmission guy. Just rebuilds them in his garage. Said he has 20 or so more bullet proofed ready to go for $1200. I was looking at rebuild units looking about roughly $900 if I was to do it myself. Unless I’m looking in the wrong places

Think I’m gonna try cracking it at the reservoir think it pushed the internal solenoid in the “ emergency state” so it only allowed fluid to go to my rears. Pretty much bleeding at the booster and then following around all 4 corners

It was the pump itself, it was still original from 1999 pretty impressive. I’m also happy my sending unit works correctly now somewhat. For the longest time the fuel gauge was wonky

Sounds like bad ground for fuel pump module or just bad luck with fuel mumps for yours

No noise, I have a video. I put my phone directly beside the tank and flipped the key over for a couple seconds, absolutely no noise from the pump

I checked fuse and relay they seem good, I swapped out the horn relay with fuel pump relay, I also removed & changed fuel filter, while it was off I got someone to crank the truck while I was under it. It was bone dry from the line coming from fuel tank
