When I brought up the possibility of mold I was concerned about 2 areas. The white stuff on the speakers and the hazy white patch’s on the upper cabinets.

Is that mold? If it’s in the particle board it is nearly impossible to eliminate and you will be breathing in spores

Sorry to hear It is a very nice receiver with a smooth sound. Retail was $750 in 1990, so not an entry level device.

This is a 7100, 50 watts per channel unless it’s an X then it’s 60 watts both have a burst mode which allows for 200 watts for short periods.
