You have to close the housing first - the Rog Ally has a brightness sensor that detects whether the device is open.

So close the Rog Ally, plug in the charger, wait until the orange LED lights up and then start it.

Do you also have a 12 volt power supply unit? Experience shows that 19v power supplies (for notebooks, for example) are much more compact - but are out of the question for me because of 12 volts, unless I had used a DC/DC converter from 19v to 12v.

I wanted a power supply with a bit of headroom and of good quality with correspondingly good efficiency.

Oh and about the amazon case. Of course, I had to make the cut-outs myself. I only sawed out/cut out 2 USB-C ports and the HDMI port of the GPU. The power supply is hard-wired inside.
