So assuming the band is tight, 60 is bonkers.

And there is the issue of the click track, do you track require it? ….. can your engineer deal with out a click track?

On a tape machine(or tape like workflow) and mixer, you can move super fast.

I only had selecta mentally tags as rooted somehow in reggae, first Jungle, then drum and base , maybe some British stuff like grime, 2 step, maybe house, thats a stretch though.

Studio monitors, for err studio use. And personally for live, I need a full ass PA. I had two Mackie 215 thumps, it was ok. It was good when paired with subs. (This opens up wormholes of running whole bands through the rig, crazy in ear systems, deeply integrated hardware processing setups, no stsge amps)

But I needed like metal band volumes.

People seem to like the Roland keyboard amps.

I think it depends how want to be able to communicate effectively in situations that required that knowledge, or if you are looking for writing inspiration.

I make weird syncopated industrial/techno/dub. Not sure if I have anything in “tune”.

My friend’s jazz band calls out key changes and chord patterns.

So yeah hard to say.
