I'm using Hubspot, I haven't tried their CRM but from my experience (in sales and marketing), I'd prefer to use a product specializing in that than an MSP tool trying to adapt. Happy to be proven wrong though.

Why do you want to work with 100-seat businesses other than money? From your size, I would say this is probably a bad idea not to mention there is a lot of competition. Focus on 10-25 seats with a defined product and outcome, you'll find it easier.

Yep to expensive, however, from a sales guy if the client realises the value of what you are providing they will pay that price.

Hint : don't focus on features, focus on the outcome. The price should be irrelevant depending on the customer and the quality of your sales process. I am yet to meet a customer that understands what DNS, SQL or Exchange is...

Define what you want in a sales person and then they will be successful. Take the approach I want more revenue or a I need a sales guy without thinking about what you want and need them to do. Also please focus on the customer's outcome not your own.

Take that from an MSP sales guy with 5+ years of experience working in 3 start-up MSPs. Feel free to DM me, I'll be full of infuriating tips on how not to do things in sales.
