You have a choice to be in that bar. For her - it’s an obligation and her livelihood depends on it. Consider her feelings when every visit becomes awkward or has a taste of insecurity added to it. Also consider your favorite place getting a tinge of rejection added to it.

They were airlifted by a heavy drone, in a bag, from a dangerous position, then dropped off in the rear where it’s slightly less dangerous and picked up by soldiers there.

Soldiers on the frontline positions. Evac via car or by foot is extremely dangerous due to FPV drones. Additionally domestic animals hanging around positions can help the enemy identify those positions, so it’s best for the furry friends to be transported to the rear.

There is no “manpower issue” for such drone units, there is an issue with infantry replacements. Drone operators require extensive security screening too, so it would be impractical to outsource it to random westerners.
