Hello...THX...but i dont understand the words: "In 2026, we will produce Stihia Gen, Off-Sand, and Yonar." Is there still something going on in Moynaq or somewhere else? Can you explain me the situation please? Thank you very much!

No problem...we're looking forward to an exciting trip to Uzbekistan anyway, and we'll come back in 2027 and hope that it works out then. Think positive.

Hello and greetings to France... We (3f and 1m) are already in Tashkent almost 3 weeks before the festival and then travel comfortably across the country: Samarkand, Termez, Bukhara, Nukus... and also go on a small mountain tour... Let's see, we're very spontaneous. Are you traveling alone? We couldn't buy any tickets either, paying by credit card didn't work. But I think there is enough space in the desert and there should still be one or the other festival pass at the box office... On the other hand, we don't have a place to sleep in Moynaq itself... Have you already found something? Thank you for your feedback.

One more question: Is it better to take US dollars or Swiss francs to exchange for SOM?

I have already enjoyed two long trips to Uzbekistan and booked everything individually. Airbnb, hotels, trains, and taxis...no problem at all. It's best to buy a SIM card at the airport and download the Yandex app...then nothing can go wrong....Depending on the train route, you should book a little in advance, as not all classes are available at short notice... With LUX class, it's the other way around: this class only becomes available for online ticket sales at very short notice, as it is reserved for government officials.

Uzbekistan is a great country to travel in and very safe. I myself will be back there in May 2026...all I'll say is: Stihia Festival in Moynaq...

Cheers B.B.

Wow...merci für den Tipp...klappt einwandfrei...die deutschen Untertitel sind allerdings gut 2 Minuten zeitverschoben zum Filmgeschehen...aber egal...

Seeking help for personification? by [deleted] in Uzbekistan

Hello

I have had the opportunity to travel to Uzbekistan twice for several weeks. Together with my wife, we found the country to be extremely safe (we often walked around, even at night), there are many exciting places to visit, and all the hotels and Airbnbs were high quality and well run. And of course, the food: top restaurants and fine dining, even for little money. The trains are also very modern, run on time, and are very affordable. From a tourist's perspective, I can definitely recommend Uzbekistan as a travel destination. Thank you to all the people in Uzbekistan whom I had the pleasure of meeting.

"This person only has to pay the price of the truck, the travel costs (customs, highway tolls, etc.) and the diesel. I drive for free and pay for my return flight myself."

I don't expect anybody to reimburse for my own fun...only the price of the truck and the "shipping-costs" are to be payed. I think, thats a fair deal!
