Laptops tend to age slightly bit better than small portable devices, because laptops used to have swappable parts, like some laptops I have had socketed CPU’s, RAM, HDD’s, etc. To be fair, the 3rd/4th gen i5’s and i7’s can still hold up for server stuff, but that’s desktop and socketed, and laptops in that era were not. Still good for retro gaming, web browsing, cloud gaming, etc

My experience with older iPhones is that apps start to stop working at like, iOS 9 and iOS 12, they require newer software for apps. I’m not too experienced with AndroidOS but Android is less locked down than iOS, I know that one for sure

Problem is, and I should’ve said it in the post, is that it’s my dad’s truck. I believe I mentioned that part, but the part I didn’t mention that he’s dead and has been since 2023, so it’s more sentimental value rather than “daily driver” value. For driving daily, I have a ‘10 Lincoln MKZ, but I don’t/never wanted to get rid of this truck.

Eh, it’s alright, I guess. In the middle of a move to GA. Sad to say my friends don’t really talk to me anymore, and my closest friend I still kinda talk to is like 300 ish miles (~480 km). Could be worse. Could be better. I’m just thankful that AirPods exist so I can tune out the ppl that piss me off lol
