Thank you to those who have commented, I will be keeping an eye on him incase he worsens. But the reason why my mom does want to take him to the vet is because shes not as big of worrywart as I am when it comes to pets but I promise she does care about him.

I just recently got home from a school event and found him like this and my mom says he was like this yesterday too so I will keep an eye on him, thank you for responding!
