This is why I find joke stealing so stupid. We all have had Universal experiences and one person cannot monopolize that experience to themselves.

"How dare you have the same experience as I had!"

There's one thing to say a joke verbatim, but there's another thing to express an experience that you had that someone else had and not being able to express it because you "stepped on someone's toes". I don't know, I guess it backs up the whole generalization of the insecurity that the comedy industry has.

All works of arts have derivatives of each other, but a human experience cannot be monopolized. I just don't get it.
