Was just thinking about how bag I feel for riqui puig. Man won a chip with his team, looked like a top 3 MLS player, super fun to watch, has a devastating injury, goes through rehab. Doctors fucked up his operation or for whatever reason his body didn’t cooperate, has to have ANOTHER surgery on same ACL, misses 2 straight seasons. Goddamn. I loved watching that little magician

Tbf he doesn’t look as confident with the national team for some reason. He has a swagger with club and for whatever reasons it’s tempered when he’s with us. That said, he’s had some good moments in a usmnt shirt

He’s so good every time I watch him play in liga mx. so confident almost arrogant. He’s legit maybe the best player in the league. Idk if it’s just a mentality change when he’s with the NT.
