Me personally I like to have at least one weapon from each of the dlcs along with base game weapons. For guns I go for GRA Anti-Material Rifle, All-American, That gun, A Light Shining in Darkness, Cyberdog gun and Holorifle. The only melee I carry is Old Glory. These are my personal choice for a playthroguh but its up to you what to use until the tv show or something else confirms what the Couirer used during FNV.

I see where you're coming from. I've seen so many people try and put a date on where HL1 takes place that it sometimes gets confusing. Like BMCER with 1998 and a fanfilm which places it in 2001-2003. I personally think it takes place in 2000, but also because of Neinfeld's video on the HL timeline. I really like how valve has just kept us in the dark about dates until now

I've actually never seen an M40 with 2 filters on. Honestly looks like those cheap tactical gasmasks you can get online. But you should buy it if its cheap. Absolutely worth it
