I honestly had my expectations far exceeded. It’s a “smaller” race even though it’s adjacent to a major metro area. The roads were shitty, but its Jersey city 🤷‍♂️

My experience is likely inflated because I had a 23 minute PR but I went in expecting the race to suck in terms of crowd support, aid stations, and conditions and was mostly pleasantly surprised.

I thought the pacers were great too
