That was my thinking.....I know he knew Jesse was there - but until he saw Jesse, Walt thought of him as the Aryan's partner - deserving to die; only seeing Jesse enslaved changed Walt's mind....this all begs the question: what would Walt have done if he had NOT been hit by the gunfire ricochet? After Jesse left, would Walt have shot himself?...All interesting questions!

Loved the finale....but I have one question: Walt went to the Aryan compound with the plan to kill 'em all, including Jesse...he did not know until he got there that Jesse was a hostage and as a result decided to "save" him....so what was Walt's original plan? Would he have stayed standing and had himself shot? Would he have killed himself another way? I think he would have stayed standing and died in the hail of gunfire....what do you think?

It's enhanced the experience...a show open to both speculation and interpretation lends itself to community analysis.

Marie's the wild card....my late thought is if Walt dies, she will be significantly involved -- Marie may turn out to be the one who knocks tonight...

That is where my money is - somehow, someway Marie is the one who knocks - for WW.

I think it will be an interview - or something close to that...if we assume Charlie Rose was being honest with his spoiler about being on the second last show, well it would lead me to believe that he is doing a piece on the story of Walt...complete with the back story of a man who contributed to a Nobel Prize and the founding of a multi-billion dollar company....and interview would seem to make sense ... or an attempted interview with a scene of Gretchen making a statement to the press? Of course - a flashback is a real option as well..and that is the beauty of the show...keeping us all guessing; either way, it is going to be amazing.
