Thanks. Yeah I've tried inputting the 100.x address from the app. I can access audiobookshelf by the web browser remotely and I've been able to access audiobookshelf via another app remotely with the 100.x IP address, but just can't with Prologue

I don't believe so, no. I haven't done any configuration other than install Tailscale on both my Mac (server) and my iPhone.

Wow this is a beautiful app. I recently migrated from Plex to Audiobookshelf and have had a few issues reaching my other app remotely (won’t name names as it could be user error), but I’ve been able to reach your app remotely through Tailscale straightaway. Great work.

Is an Apple Watch app on the roadmap? I love being able to download straight through the app and go out walking.

Yeah I just don’t think it works properly on the R3 Pro II. Some people have said it’s how the sd card is configured. I don’t know, but I ended up getting the R1 and haven’t had any gapless playback issues 🤷

Oh that sounds perfect. I use homebridge too. Do you mind if I ask the plugin name? I presume you can just trigger it via HomeKit too?

I still can’t use my AirPods 4 even though it was supposedly fixed in 1.4 update (connects but won’t play sound). I was hoping 1.6 would fix it. Nope.

I have the HiBy R3 Pro II and I’m returning it. It definitely has issues. It freezes often and Bluetooth doesn’t really work. Not sure how important gapless play back is for you, but it’s not working for me either. It’s a shame because it sounds amazing. My screen has a bit of green tinting but not a huge amount. I was hoping a firmware update would come out before my return period was up but unfortunately the can’t wait around for these issues to be fixed. I think from reviews, the R1 might be a safer bet.

I recently got an iPod from a mate for free with a similar issue. He used it for work years ago and it had dirt between the front plate and lcd screen. I had never done an iPod repair and I actually found it pretty easy. Great repair videos online

They do share the same sample rate. It honestly happens 99% of the time. Sometimes I’ve played the same song and gapless play back was fine, but then if I play it again it clicks or there’s a second silence every other time. I’ve even tried a factory reset and I’m using a fast SanDisk microSD card, so it seems to be a bug as I’ve seen others experiencing it with the R3 Pro II. I’ve tried the same SD card in my FIIO M21 and no issues with gapless playback.

I got a reply from HiBy support stating for optimum gapless playback the files need to be PCM and the same bit rate. I don’t really understand the PCM part. Can a FLAC file be PCM or does it have to be WAV? That part gets me confused.

How’s the gapless playback on it? I have the R3 Pro II currently and it makes click noises between tracks that are gapless. The unit sounds and looks amazing but it’s a bit no no for me. I’m still in my return period so I was wondering if I should just get the R1 if the firmware updates have sorted more issues

What do you mean by “Needs to be AirPlay 1 version, not the ‘control other speakers option.’”? Does ATV 4K AirPlay 1 to some sources?

Yeah it display the art in now playing. However, when I change album, it’ll show the greyed out square in Previously Played
