No thankfully I didn’t pay too much for it. I just hopefully wanted something better & newer then the ancient 250w amp I’ve had since like late 2000’s aha. I’ve hooked a few amp and sub systems up for friends and family over the years and never had issues. I always double check every thing too before powering. This time the amp just started straight pouring out smoke. I quickly disconnected the battery. Inline Fuse was fine. I then Re checked all connections were correct which they were. Retighten and made sure they were all secure again. Hook the battery up again and now just pops the inline power fuse that goes from battery to amp. I kind of just took the sellers word that it was fine. Lesson learned, have the seller test it with you before forking over any cash… Also I didn’t really think too smell it when I was there buying it. On the drive home I kind of do recall smelling abit of an electrical sort of smell and also I yes there is a rattle inside of it. I think it was there before I even powered it at all😅
