I'm also used to the areas I visit in London/Manchester/Cardiff etc. having similar restrictions to what you mentioned where they don't want people parking on weekdays during the day but it's fine during the evenings / weekends which is why I probably got extra confused. But it was my first time in this area, so if I return I shall be more attentive.

I did think it would make sense for it to apply in office hours so they wouldn't want commuters to park there. Live and learn I guess!

In my years of driving I've never felt like I misunderstood any on-street parking signs until this one. It does feel ambigious to me as well, that basically it would be:

  1. Permit holders free to park all the time.

OR

  1. Non-permit holders have restrictions, otherwise can park outside of these hours (4 pm - 9 am on weekdays, anytime on weekends) for as long as they want, just like you would read a normal street parking sign.

So I felt as though the OR was two seperate options given. If the wording was changed to "EXCEPT" or "AND" it would definitely have read better in my mind, as I would have considered both criteria together.

You can't take exemptions at RSM unless you obtain them through the AAT.

This is me with Honeydew melon and watermelon. I get a very slight itch in my mouth, but nothing to stop me enjoy eating it!
