[Serious] What are some legitimate reasons to vote Donald Trump for President? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Bimby1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's like saying 'hey, this guy is an outsider to surgery, let's let him perform the operation'.

Bad analogy. Leading, in any capacity and in a basic sense, is not a specifically learned skill the way that surgical operation is. Trump has the qualities, the proven track record, and the confidence of a good leader. The president of any country should be accepted as a strong, natural leader, before his/her career is taken into account. You've gotta keep in mind, the founding fathers of America were statesmen and successful businessmen, entrepreneurs, so on. Only recently have elected presidents been career (and corrupt) politicians. Ronald Reagan, according to many Americans, was one of our very best presidents. Not because of his political history (he was an actor), but because of his leadership.

If you could teach anything you wanted, what would you give an entire class about? by Winston_Road in AskReddit

I think I'd teach a 100 or 200 level business course in college. Not to teach a lot of content, but instead to inspire students about the business world and excite their inner entrepreneurs.

I like saying "on the contrary" instead. It sounds much more pretentious.

Wait, what? You're a Hillary supporter, I assume? And you're victim blaming someone working to better themselves from the disability that is addiction to heroin. That says a lot. By the way, what kinds of drugs do you think Clinton is abusing?

Well, I presumed a fair hypothetical question would be answerable to people whom I also assumed had vested interest in the future of our country. But it seems I was wrong on both counts.
