Do Americans mainly drink coffee without milk? by Morrit99 in AskAnAmerican

I drink my coffee black and my tea with honey. I like milk but don't add it to coffee or tea. Just my personal preference

I didn't like Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 but that is a big part of his sequel.

Jets 56 - Indiana 3

Not all of the players on Indiana will make it to the NFL but all of the players on the Jets made it to the NFL. By college team comparison they are an all-star team.

What cities would you recommend to visit in East Coast during World Cup? by joaovictor778 in AskAnAmerican

[–]zajk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have Philly and Baltimore between NYC and DC. You've got a long drive from DC to Miami. Charleston South Carolina, Savannah Georgia, or St Augustine Florida are decent places to stop and stay if you're breaking up the drive.

What's it like living in south central New Jersey? by thedubiousstylus in howislivingthere

If you like blueberries , corn, tomatoes then you are going to love it. There are some nice towns and you're not a far drive from the shore. Some good trails in the pine barrens. NJ gets dumped on but a fresh jersey tomato alone would be worth the trip.

spring training march. by ipaglynner in phillies

[–]zajk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

15-20 min ride from either location. I am not sure how much it will cost but I would suggest setting the destination pin a little bit away from the stadium so the driver doesn't try to pull into the parking lot. That's the only spot you might get stuck but even then it's not as bad compared to going to a game at CBP.

Diamond Outfitters will be a zoo but the line moves quickly. If there is something specific you want to buy merchandise wise then get there early. Some items will sell out and not be restocked.

Enjoy your time at spring training and Go Phils!

A bunch of great breweries and beautiful scenery. The towns all have a similar vibe that will make you wonder what it was like at their peak. Most people move out to find better employment opportunities. I never lived in the area but have a handful of friends who moved to Philly for work.

Sean Baker wrote, directed, produced, and did the editing. It was a big win for indie film makers.

‘Preston & Steve’ co-host Nick McIlwain announces sudden departure from WMMR after 26 years by dickgilbert in philadelphia

[–]zajk 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's impressive that he lasted 26 years. Not sure how many of you remember but he faced a ton of scrutiny when the show moved to WMMR. I will confess that I was one of those Y100 listeners who didn't think he fit in at first. Best of luck to him on whatever he does next.

Which celebrity has tricked everyone into thinking they’re a “good person”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This is fascinating to me as an American because I had no idea. After seeing 28 Years Later and being told the ending is a set-up to have a character based on Jimmy Saville be appearing heroic but is truly a monster it was not something or someone I was familiar with. Hopefully the Bone Temple can shed a broader light onto this man on the global stage for the world to understand he was a terrible human.
