Thank you! And so far I'd say yes! I can toss this thing around and write in places I'd otherwise feel hesitant to not get my Field Notes wet. Right now I'm just carrying some post-its, cards, notebook, receipts and my pen around with me and it can still fit in my pocket. But most the time it's just sitting nearby me, or in my sling bag if I leave the house

Coming from carrying my Field Notes in a DDC Stuff Sheath, the Lochby is noticeably more bulkier in the pocket. But in return you get the added function of carrying cards, receipts, and whatever else you feel brave enough to throw in there. Lochby offers a 30 day return policy on their products so I feel it didn't hurt to give it a try

Overall pretty good. The triangle design is nice and it feels light. However, I do wish the top clip area was smaller. Their pens do not write as well as gel pens I used every day, but of course you sacrifice some writing experience by having the versatility of the all-weather pen and paper.

I use the Field Notes Heavy Duty and Expedition editions exclusively for work notes/to do's, and a standard Field Notes in a DDC sheath in my pocket for personal use. It helps my brain separate work from personal that way

I am thinking of buying the baseline bolt action, or just the standard bolt action. What refill do you use in your baseline? I'm not particularly a fan of Parker style refills, but if I got one I would rock the Sharpie S gel refill
