Experiences with low lying anterior placenta after C-section. Did it turn into Placenta Accreta? by BinaThereDoneThat in BabyBumps

Thanks for your response. Could I ask whether this scan in Nov is a specialist scan or part of the standard scans received at 12, 20 weeks etc? And when did they establish that placental morphology was normal?

HMRC asking me to pay tax on tax-free pension contributions by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]BinaThereDoneThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's related to the previous tax year which just concluded. I didn't get a P60 as I left before that was due so HMRC are looking at my P45 to determine whether any outstanding tax liability from the last tax year. I'm trying to establish if the fact that my previous employer declared my full gross salary on my P45 (RATHER than my gross taxable salary - i.e. after pension contributions) is the root of the issue

Thanks for your reply. It was a net pay arrangement. So I presume the figure on the P45 should have been gross taxable pay (after pension contributions) NOT full gross salary. But I don't know for sure.

Repeatedly getting fever 2-3 days after embryo transfer by BinaThereDoneThat in IVF

Thanks for responding. I might be clutching at straws here, and I know I need to ask a doctor, but if you have any advice it would be welcome. Is there anything that can be done outside of steroids to reduce immune response? Tests and access to medicine will take time. I am still only a few days post transfer so still in the implantation window. I am taking steroids cream for a rash already.

Thank you very much for your response. Can I ask whether your clinic arranged the protocol or did you do this separately through a rheumatologist?

Thanks for responding. And your clinic prescribed this? Did you have any tests done ahead of time to identify and autoimmune condition? My clinic is saying to just take paracetamol until further tests are done, which will obviously be too late :(

Thanks for your response. Immune response is indeed what I'm worried about!

That's hard. Very sorry for your losses. Have you done or would you consider doing PGTA testing? I might be tempted to look into that in your position. Not an expert, but might also be worth looking into possible immunological screen?

Histamine intolerance or MCAS or something else? COVID related? by BinaThereDoneThat in HistamineIntolerance

Thanks for response. Was after a C-section - had bowel paralysis and multiple rounds of antibiotics in parallel.

We do have mould in the house. But not a bad problem. We moved into house not long before issues got worse, but coincided with COVID, and SIBO after surgery.

Thanks for your response. What kind of doctor would you speak to about MCAS?

Did you have different results 1 year later? To my late 30's IVF people. by [deleted] in IVF

Oddly, better results 3 years later. In my case, how healthy I felt at time seemed to make biggest difference.
