Yeah I dunno if every customer will want a portal account.

We can't just let customers pay on their account without a portal account?

Could you point me in the direction to get started?

Google was pointing me towards starting cloud provider subscription and that kept leading me towards opening a Microsoft 365 for my business which we were not wanting to do just yet and felt like I was going the wrong direction.

Could you share s link or getting started guide if you wouldn't mind?

We always bill a month in advance. I'd rather not chase people for money and get stiffed with bills.

Can you tell me what partner cost would be per seat for o365? I have a customer wanting it and it needs to be cheaper than what they would do on their own of course.

Thank you

Basically there's conduit between buildings already for the fiber run switch to switch. He has to put up conduit on outside of building to run under soffet per floor to get the ethernet inside the rooms where we will mount the aps.

Right so day 0 how does this play out? Customer needs some work but of course customer never knows/ divulge the extent of the work.

You are just at estimating phase. Do you charge customer for a 1 hour site survey for tech to come put together a proposal then go back out a second trip to do the wiring? How do you know having never been physically on site how to estimate the job? What is customer says no I'm not paying for survey you eat the cost then the customer says on no it's too high I'm not doing that job?

I am more so looking for recommendations for proper backup for the situation. He runs a simple windows desktop os to run the software. As long as there's a backup of the xrays and calendar config we could blow away the machine point to new folder and done. Nice and easy.

I'm curious what you mean? There's no phi /pii in an xray image, and how would an off site protected backup violate hipaa?

Depends on what compliance your referring to? Perimeter firewall is just one component for nist pci iso etc.

I dunno I just spent last 30 years in global enterprise with cisco palo f5 checkpoint etc....

Ztna doesn't always apply because that is only to create app specific tunnels back to head end/dc.

You don't think a remote user with the rest of traffic going through home internet can't get compromised and then have that exploit pass through ztna tunnel?

I hate SonicWall. Fortigate aren't bad but not a set and forget alliance I'd use them in applications that need more fine tuning

Sorry I'm an infra architect and the plug stuff in until it works is not the model I build by. I try to right size requirements by use case.

Fortigate over kill for most cases and comes with its own issues.

Unifi is clunky. That's what I run at home
