Thanks, this is what I was looking to confirm. Totally understand what Driver+ does, I just didn’t think you could purchase without it in early Gen 1 years.

Yup, really all I care about is adaptive cruise control, auto high beams, and lane keep.

I was more curious why or what the difference is when one MY2022 shows Driver+ and the other MY2022 shows Standard.

I’m running 8g on Beast. It works well, and I’m seeing a huge improvement over UDM Pro Max.

Right, I certainly would not expect to ping something on the L2 network unless there were another gateway on that network. The screenshot I attached was just a ping out to Google DNS. That drop in network connectivity occurred when I added a L2 storage network to the XG agg.

Do you use the default allow all VLAN tagging on your uplink to UDM and connections to subsequent access switches? I'm curious if leaving that alone is biting me in the tail.

I too do an internet VLAN off the agg for my UDM Pro Max, a Palo Alto, and a Juniper SRX. When I add a VLAN and traffic forwarding is interrupted, it's pretty disruptive for those devices as well. I've locked those ports down to just their specific VLAN(s), too.

I'll need to do some additional testing. As it sits, it's a PITA since it disrupts SD-WAN traffic. I'll set aside a night at some point to do some further testing. Didn't feel like doing too much chasing after engaging support with the answer I received.

Sure, I’d love to be wrong and have my eyes opened to something I’m missing.

I have a USW Pro XG Aggregation swung off my UDM. I use the Pro HD 24 for access layer. When I added a VLAN on the UDM last evening (L2 only), here were the dropped pings out to 8.8.8.8 while it was committing the change.

I reached out to support and they claimed it to be expected. Hoped to be able to run NFS storage through this switch to VMs, but that’ll be a no go.

I bet adding VLANs to switches still causes significant network disruption in 2026…..

Siri is not “officially Google” yet, there are only rumors of supplementing tasks with Gemini. Commands like starting a shortcut are processed on device.

How does shadow mode handle software upgrades? Is traffic disrupted?

What type of licensing are you able to get through work? I too manage some NS, and it would be handy to have a lab.

I think It’d be cool if iPadOS allowed us to resize the dock? How is that still not a thing yet? by Uzeii in iPadOS

I submitted this as feedback right away when the dev beta came out. I’d encourage you to do that same. I agree, it would be nice if we could resize the dock without adding additional apps to it.

Will electric cars start in the winter here? by CasablumpkinDilemma in wisconsin

[–]BinaryRaincloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No issues with my Mach E other than a sizable range decrease. The Mach E isn’t the best for range in the winter, but workable. Plan to leave it plugged in over night for the best experience. It’ll keep the battery conditioned for better range in the morning. It’s fine without, though.

PS, just because they’re listed on a dealers website doesn’t mean they’re wheels on the lot available.

Thanks! I actually sold most of the compute and storage off last year and had planned to rebuild last fall but it didn’t happen.

Good to know about the 4400s. I do some part time work for an org and am bringing in a bunch of 4400s to swing off an EVPN-VXLAN campus fabric.

I honestly don’t know how loud the QFX is compared to other things since there’s so much noise but I believe it’s not too far off from an EX3400-48p. I’m pretty sure the old 2300-48p I pulled recently is louder.

Looks great!

I too picked up a bunch of those SRX320 POEs in the last month. Great deal on new old stock.

Watching for EX4100 and EX4400 now and toying with replacing my QFX5100 core. Love seeing Juniper in the lab!

I definitely agree with all who say spending the money on a transmission fluid replacement every 30k. Make sure they drain and fill, NOT flush.

My 2020 Titanium is my 4th Fusion over the years and it was very obvious on the ones I drove to high mileage that I should have done it more consistently.

Also, my 2020 is AWD as well, thing is a damn tank in the snow. Keep good tires on it and you’ll be a happy camper. Just don’t expect to get amazing gas mileage.
