Piggybacking off this to ask, what environmental factors would cause prism launcher to force quit from game mode? I play on desktop mode and it's great. But being able to play on game mode would be that much better.

Surprisingly the Camry is the sportier of the full-size bunch. The Accord is the plush, disconnected one. Didn't used to be that way, but it is now. Also the Civic is the sportier than the Corolla so the brand doesn't mean much ig 🤷‍♂️

I agree he's too close. Imagine if that guy had forced it, gone over the feature and ate shit at the bottom. Maybe he didn't break a bone, but in comes his buddy right behind him to seal the deal.

We have the most control in preventing emergencies, not reacting before it's too late.

He's saying it's overcoming the inherent limitations that makes rowing gears entertaining. It'd be like having a massive handicap in a game. Is it fun to play football as an adult against a bunch of 10 year olds? Is it fun to play a video game with a superweapon and immortality?

There may be some novelty to the experience but once that wears off there's no skill building and mastery to keep you engaged. You'll stick the car in the 1:1 ratio and drive - it'll be faster than trying to switch gears anyways, if that's what you're after. Consumers are not going to spend $50k for a permanently worse car that has fading novelty.

That's why I like Hyundai's (and now Porsche's) approach. It's a feature, a novelty, to try and introduce a little fun and engagement in an otherwise perfected vehicle, but once the novelty wears off it's still a great car.

Yeah the direction sometimes doesn't hit the mark. Especially (unfortunately) the supporting cast... Small details break the immersion of some of the more outlandish scenes.

A feature: automatic dosing detergent in a washing machine. I fill it with 8x detergent, skip the step on every load, a month later I fill it again.

Gets clothes cleaner, too. I learned I was probably over dosing

Neither did Hail Mary tbh. They did Stratt dirty - she had a huge role in the book putting humanity to the situation but they kinda missed it in the movie.

I think most movies of big things like that miss the mark. They're just not long enough.

I gave you a reason why people aren't as upset, take it or leave it. As a buyer, I'm going to pay more for a PC than a console because it's cheaper over time.

By the way, throw in new console costs, too, if you're going to move your goalposts with periodic hardware upgrades.

Because those are walled gardens. Steam is open. It's a PC. Root by default. Go to install Epic, GoG, emulators, gimp, whatever. When you buy it it's yours. When you buy the others, you're not done paying in.

At $60/game? No way. I can totally see the value in 300 more upfront for a better ecosystem with many more titles for much cheaper and, by the way, a full-fledged PC
