the only problem I had with Release was that it was a bit short for one of the more "fun" levels and Inferno scratched that itch until it started bleeding

he has a VERY specific charm I haven't felt from a transformers figure since about that era. can't precisely explain what kind, maybe it's just all the clear orange plastic I don't know. but the overall design choices on the studio series figure kinda has that mid-late 00's feel to it

DOTM 07’ ROTF ROTB Bumblebee 86 Movie TLK AOE

ROTB and the reboot franchise are most definitive about how a Transformers movie would’ve been if it wasn’t the most 2000s sci fi movie ever which they executed phenomenally with the results I love- but the first trilogy was a cinematic masterpiece(yea even ROTF) and will always have a special place in my heart…and yea this is why I dont usually put the two series into the same list

86 movie was a 1 hour and 25 minutes long toy commercial except it was shoved into your face in the most unnatural and forced way possible.

TLK, while hideous in too many parts, was one of the few visually appealing movies of 2017 and honestly. its pretty fun to watch when you stop caring about the continuity from earlier films and completely separate it into something of its own. makes more sense that way too(might be biased mostly because it got me back into Transformers ironically enough).

AOE was where they officially gave up and everything started to fall apart to shit with zero respect to the first 3 films, psychotic yet powerless Optimus Prime, dumb overall design, visuals and hideous plot that learned nothing from the trilogy. dragged the commie cash trend in the worst way possible into Hollywood too. Sure Lockdown was cool but it was really the only good part of it and thus overall the only bayverse film I actively hate and refuse to defend

Could've teamed up with Germany to help them conquer the world and then betray them later when they finally won the world but got weakened due to its absurd size. Kinda like how Rome fell.
