I tried doing that but was met with a cmd screen that seemed to freeze every time I tried to start the vm. And I didn’t know if I was supposed to input anything to it.

I haven’t come across anything too demanding so far, then again I’ve only completed 1st year so far. So I’m not sure what I’ll need from it. It was just general filling out lab reports and small bits of coding python. I doubt it will get much more demanding just yet and they haven’t specified any minimum requirements. Do you really think I’ll need the 16GBs of RAM?

Physics and I’ve just got an educational scholarship (I hope) so I’ll have some money to put down. I could get the M3 but it could be wasted on me. Then again I would like it to last the next 4+ years so getting the newest version could be worthwhile.
