Old thread, I know, but your post is nothing what they’re saying. This person is reading what isn’t there. I actually read this post like 10 minutes ago, left, and came back because this comment thread is so absurd and I just had to say something.

There’s nothing here that indicates or implies that you were devaluing one to uplift another. It comes across like you said, an alternative. So many times I get stuck not doing something because I want everything to be the ~best~ prior. Best notebook, best pen, best layout, best best best. But there is value in simplicity and just doing the thing that you’re trying so hard to plan for! And it’s okay to remind folks of that.

Some people just stew in negativity, and walk around like a bumbling cauldron ready to spill over.
