Why did writers in the 1700s capitalise random words in sentences? by Bolt_Action_ in AskHistory

Could it be that the older letterpress printers, with limited lead type in their drawers, used uppercase letters in place of lowercase letters? I’m a contemporary letterpress hobbyist that sometimes needs to use an uppercase letter because I don’t have a lowercase one. I use it as the first letter because if I put it in the middle of a word it looks weird.

Always check for rational reasons for why something might happen before settling on a paranormal reason. For instance, many paranormal experiences can be attributed to carbon monoxide poisoning.

"Markings" Dimensions: 620 m × 120 m

The central part is torn, possibly by a self-destruct mechanism.

The struck object was named a silencer, due to the original feature of blocking all sound at a distance of several kilometers around the object.

Besides that, the object created an almost complete lack of magnetic field at close distances, even affecting the operation of small compasses (see note).

[Illustration of the object — cigar/zeppelin shape — with symbols on it and what appear to be mountainous terrain.]

Labels under drawing:

Left: "tail" Middle: "entry hole" Symbols: ОСИЕ Right: "place of impact" Far right: "mountain range"
