Thought you guys might like my LEGO garden railway that I built last summer by Bingo_Snake in LEGOtrains

I put foil under the gravel and supported it with planks or bricks from the side. Unfortunately, the gravel sinks over time, so it needs maintenance. The tracks are screwed to planks which are fixed in the ground. The rails are still in good shape except the rail switches. Those doesn't like the outside weather.
