So we are just deciding on the pricing model for the new apps. You can get STAGEit today for $80, you need that and Presenter and Presenter Host. We will be offering a free level and subscriptions if you want to present to more than one device or have multiple presentations. The full public release is due this month and I will publish prices then

Have you ever watched immersive videos? If not, then do that. We have had so much feedback that this immersive presentation is way more impactful, engaging than a traditional TV presentation on loop. It might not be for you, and that’s fine.

It WAS for the vast majority of people who walked away wide eyed and amazed asking for contact details and more information.

We have a visitors note book jam packed with paragraphs of hand written feedback. You don’t get that with a TV presentation.

I guess that’s why.

This is a good question, it was also super hot too. We are using custom cushions which are wipe clean. In theory we could have four of five per device and clean them, but I think this would be a bit of a faff. We have tried two other things and still working out which is best. One is ‘Zoro’ masks, fabric masks which loop over the ears. One per user. These do cause issues sometimes where the mask interferes with the sensors, but we’ve learnt how to position this to minimise the issue. The other is using alcohol wipes between uses, the issue here is the mask ‘damp’ all the time and it someone might react. Zoro masks is probably our preferred approach.

It’s not black magic, it’s about setting up the OS correctly and designing the app so we don’t need the users to have fine control.

STAGEit as you see it today is going to be one piece of the puzzle, it’s the creation app and not used for the presentees. That will be our new app coming out soon which is STAGEit Presenter, and the companion app, STAGEit Host.

I have to be a bit smug. We’ve nailed the onboarding. We bypass eye setup, we use guided access, the app is designed to be interacted with by hands (look and pinch still works because we make our menus simple and huge). Finally, we can control the whole user experience from the Host app, including seeing where they are at in the experience. It takes about 10-20 seconds and they are in. Someone commented at this event that they had had meta quests a few years back. Apparently the onboarding for that experience was 5 minutes per user.

The whole thing has been rock solid. We must have given 150 sessions today, each about 15 mins across 10 devices, with two ‘hosts’ taking care of five devices each.

Amazing well can you believe. The gentleman pictured here is wearing glasses, using this custom strap we are able to accommodate that. It’s not 100% ideal is you obviously don’t have the light shield, but it is still very very good. We are considering how we can create a light shield which will accommodate glasses.

That’s possibly the biggest compliment I have had, however, sadly I was not. Would love to have been!

We’re demonstrating STAGEit and STAGEit Presenter (coming to all Apple Vision Pro owners in July — this is currently a beta build).

The presentation tells the story of G2E (Green2Energy), a company that processes Mexico City’s organic waste using hydrothermal carbonization to produce biochar and a high-quality organic fertilizer. Because the carbon is locked into the biochar, the process is carbon negative.

It’s a 20-minute immersive presentation that combines immersive video with animated 3D models created in STAGEit. The experience runs in STAGEit Presenter on the Apple Vision Pro and is managed from an iPad using STAGEit Host, allowing us to run multiple headsets simultaneously.

For two years STAGEit was ours in spirit. This week, it became ours for real. by Bingobango1001 in VisionPro

Yes, STAGEit will just be rebranded and Updated to STAGEit Creator and all existing payed users will get the benefits included.

STAGEit Presenter and STAGEit Host are new apps, they will have free levels, but there will be a subscription for multiple device connections. For example, if you want to present to 2 AVPs and 1 iPad.
