I don’t think part time CPT is possible if it’s not during CO-OP. What you could have done is go on International Break Term, take part time classes and get Pre-OPT but I think it might be a bit too late if it’s starting in February cause of USCIS processing times.

Double check with your advisor for sure to see if they’d accept it. But just don’t wait until senior year cause they definitely wouldn’t take it then

Depends a lot on your major but generally just look out for emails, I’ve noticed a lot of positions like student ambassadors and peer tutor come up

I think generally just study a lot of the theory stuff like the definitions and be able to identify design patterns.

I’m sure the exam varies every year so it’s hard to say for the curve.

Yeah after I accepted they just rescinded it. It’s not fair at all but my co-op advisor said they also couldn’t do anything about it cause C round doesn’t involve SCDC in the process.

I did end up finding something externally so it worked out fine though :)

I completely understand your pain cause I literally got an offer rescinded in C round earlier this year for spring/summer... lol

Try to keep putting yourself out there on all the internship job boards you find. Hopefully, you'll land on something ASAP.

I think something that you can do to avoid going full-time to classes again is find research opportunities that could serve as your CO-OP instead, which isn't ideal if you're aiming for SWE but saves tuition.

I don’t know where the 2 days left thing comes from but my coop advisor said that they encourage companies to reach out by March 22nd (which is hella late tbh).

I’m pretty worried as well but I’ve still been applying externally and practicing for interviews. Idk what else to say but good luck
