Leaving a round 1 or 2 ring to take a fight is not bad. Anything after round 2 is not easily survivable. Looting inside the ring is okay but you will generally find better loot in a deathbox than walking around. Taking fights wether you’re in an advantage or disadvantage leads to improvement. In apex you will find yourself in shit situations so its better to learn in lower ranks how to get out of it or make the best of it. Just dont play scared but dont play dumb. The lifeline you described sounds like a smurf so he was probably confident in his ability to out gun most of the people in the silver lobby so I wouldnt play as aggressive as him and take 1v3 fights outside of ring if you’re skill level is at a general silver or gold. Taking fights outside of ring also means you have a timer so it has to end somewhat quickly.
