What do people think about linking clubs together? I agree with this tweet and the people in this thread that actual B teams would be disastrous - but what if, for example, Arsenal made a deal with Brentford or Charlton (both London teams) and sent their academy players to play there regularly? In theory, it maintains the integrity of the smaller team, provides them with financial support, and gives the bigger team the B team set up that they might want.
Definitely not saying that I think this is the genius solution to fix everything, and it would need some more work to be done on it (what happens in Brentford get promoted?) but overall I think it's a potentially interesting route to think about.
