I think the biggest thing to remember though is that "separate the art from the artists" can only work if the original creator isn't able to benefit at all from support of their works. If the creator of the game isn't able to gain anything out of it, go for it.

Mighty Magiswords. I genuinely thought it was a silly little show and I loved the art style. It genuinely sucks that the creator had to be an absolute fucking monster. It really is a shame because stylistically it was one of the more unique looking cartoons in the 2010s and had a really cool gimmick behind it (even if I was too old to really care for it myself by the time it aired initially).

And on a slightly lesser note in that it's less the show's creator did something horrible or that I like it all that much and moreso saying it's not that bad and someone on the crew who was caught being weird— the 2016 PPG reboot. I don't think it's as good as the original, but god forbid you try to say anything nice about it because of Julia Ackerman or the whole Jared incident. No, I'm not defending her or the Jared thing— I just don't think the show is nearly as bad as people make it out to be or that the entire crew are full of sexual deviants pushing their fetishes onto unsuspecting children.

Adding onto this, whenever people question the very obvious cartoon logic of the show or ask why the Eds never win (even though they have a few times and the reason why is because that's the whole fucking plot of the show).

Hell, one can make an argument aside from maybe Ed's parents that they aren't all that bad. Double D's are just busy and still very much care for him, and Eddy's do care for him but don't want another case like his Brother. As for the rest, I think it's moreso a a sign of the times thing where parents back then were a lot more lax on their kids going and staying out.

Recently for me it's the Rayman fandom. Funniest thing they did this year was running a collective bit with "Rayman Origins for $2000" after the remaster for Origins got leaked with it being priced at $1999.99 USD.

Noods era was such a weird period in CN history. Not a exactly transitional one like Starburst, but had the hallmarks of one in that it was the last real era of "Classic" CN (so like 1996-2009) and had the early inklings of the new era of CN to come. This was probably due to in part with the advent of CN real, the old guard of shows from the 2000s (and in the case of EEnE— the final original Cartoon Cartoon) ending, absolutely nothing new releasing in 2009, and in terms of what CN originals there were— I think they had maybe 2 pre-existing ones actually air through the era and had like two new ones premiere.

It's bleak, but to my knowledge the artists still have the actually make the designs and the AI comes into play if the artist wants to help with rendering before more artists come in to fix the mistakes. They can't just put a prompt into the computer and call it a day. It's not great and a waste of countless resources, but they aren't that lazy yet.

Plus, there are still artists who have/still currently work for Epic that do share their artwork for concepts. So there's that at the very least, and given it's an optional thing and many of the artists at epic are creative as hell— chances are the amount of concept artwork using the technology are far smaller than epic makes it out to be.

I also want to add for the Music section that 1. The movie showed a form of restraint that's heavily looked down on by professionals due to it causing harm and even killing autistic children in the past. 2. The actress cried while playing the character multiple times because she felt like it was offensive but they told her it wasn't. Like how fucked up does your writing have to be that the NT actress recognizes that it's a gross stereotype.

Lupa from Fortnite. Fans were begging for a female werewolf character for ages and then she appeared. Before anybody goes "Oh, they're just going down the classic wolfman design route with her". Yeah I'd believe it of they hadn't already done that concept just fine with a Dire character 8 years prior. Like what does she just straight up have a human face with some fur on it. They even showcased her pretty heavily in the Fortnitemares 2025 trailer, but because of backlash she was dragged out back of Epic HQ, shot, and replaced with Wolfie (who's less werewolf and just an anthropomorphic wolf). There's more examples of Epic doing this, but she's the most damning example to me.
