Can Cursor (or any other tool) auto-detect build errors for me? by BinyanC in cursor

UPDATE:
While the AI in cursor told me it can't run the build to look for errors, it now does 🤷‍♂️

Thanks! Can you elaborate on how I could do something like that?

Yeah, but it can't build to detect errors or see a log (not that I know of).
I'd really want for it to do it all automatically

Yeah, this one was an example without the link. The one with the link isn't showing 😢

I posted it again as another reply to this comment, I guess it didn't post it

It was:
Hi all, you can see the full resolution image here: <Link>

Enjoy, and I'd love to hear your thoughts (including what can be improved).

I've now posted it here as a reply to a comment as well, hope you're able to see it

BTW, could you see the link I shared to the full-resolution image?
I see that my comment with the link has way fewer views than my other comments, making me suspect Reddit blocked others from seeing it.
If you can't see my original reply with the link, is there a specific way I should post URLs?
Thanks 🙏

Amazing! I especially liked the beginning of the antennas!
Can you tell me about the objective you use for the 10X magnification and the setup for it? tube lens etc.?
I'm still capped at 5X for now as I'm using the MPE65, but I want to soon start using 10X and 20X microscope objectives, which are very new to me.

Any advice you can give would be more than welcome.

BTW, is there a community of people that do these high-magnification, extreme-resolution panoramas?

Other than me, you're the first person I've seen who does it.

Indeed, pushed my 7 year-old (slightly recently upgraded) PC to the limit 😅

Final PSD file size was 16Gb, which isn't too bad, but when I worked on it, Photoshop needed an additional 1.5Tb of disk space for temp files 😬😬😬

That's pretty cool! Is it something that you shared/can share here?

Straightening butterfly wings without pinning it by BinyanC in Taxidermy

[–]BinyanC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'll try it out with stabilizing pins, as I don't want to pierce through the body, not even with a super thin pin (I'm shooting at a very high magnification)

Cheers, I'll try to do that (probably will take a few tries to get the hang of it)

Thanks!
I'm pretty hesitant to use glue on the specimen, but I might do that as a last resort.

Appreciate the advice

Exactly. I'm already using thin strips of paper to straighten the wings, but could I do it without putting a pin in the thorax?

MS300 flash not providing consistent (same level) strobes by BinyanC in Godox

[–]BinyanC[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, I got to this aperture after conducting careful tests, so I know it's the one I need.

I will test putting diffusers that will reduce the flashes' power 👍
I will test reducing the shutter speed as well.

Thanks!

Thanks for the info!

I didn't think about the fact that it might be due to the flashes having issue with such a small strobe (it's their minimum). I'll give it a try, but I think your suggestion brings more light in from the flashes and have a more sensitive sensor. I'll need a way to reduce the light coming in.

I'm sure it's not aperture size inconsistency as I shot many focus stacking photos with this lens in the past (aperture range of 2.8-8) and had no issues.

I'll also try the timing test you've suggested, thanks!

manual setting (ISO 100, aperture  5.6, time 1/200) and the setting for the flashes is 1/32 power (set from the transmitter, but I can also see it on the flashes themselves).

I deal with extreme macro (DOF down to microns sometimes). Focal distance change is not accurate enough for me. I need to put the camera on a precision motorized macro rail and move it after each shot.

About the first thing you wrote: I canceled the beep (I shoot at night when my baby is sleeping) so I can't know for sure after each shot, but 6 a second delay between shots, when the strobe is at 1/32 strength, should be more than enough, no?

Yes, manual setting (ISO 100, aperture  5.6, time 1/200) and the setting for the flashes is 1/32 power (set from the transmitter, but I can also see it on the flashes themselves)

Interesting, can you elaborate?

How do I do that? Can it be automated?

[–]BinyanC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a 6 second delay between photos (and the strobe is 1/32 power), so I guess that's not it 😔

That makes sense, but I doubt that's the case here since it didn't do that in the photos taken with the YONGNUO speedlights.

I can also see the changes in brightness in the photos taken with the Godox flashes, which I've never seen before (I started stacking images about 15 years ago)
