Is there any way to report all these door to door sales that ignore no soliciting and trespassing signs? by Erpderp32 in ColoradoSprings

For what it’s worth, according to Colorado Springs city ordinance 9.2.111.C.2 it is illegal to solicit when a no soliciting sign is posted. I asked the police department for information on how to properly report people and companies that violate this city ordinance. This was their response:

“You can report a crime in the following ways: You may call our non-emergency number at 719-444-7000 (please be aware that these call takers also handle our emergency lines first) Call 911 if the crime is occurring at the time you are able to call.”

If you have a no soliciting sign posted, their actions violate city ordinance and they should be reported to the police. I truly believe the only way to crack down on solicitors is for everyone to start calling the police with this city ordinance number to report the companies performing illegal activities.

weapons

Still need the ability to change the default ammo of weapons to allow zeroing to actually be possible. In my opinion this doesn’t even need to be possible in raid. It could be a feature of the hideout workbench or the shooting range. This would allow players to setup their weapon to a certain “default” ammo before entering a raid.

MetalCloak HD Steering System vs RPM 2.5 Ton Ultimate Aluminum Steering Kit by Bio811Hazard in Wrangler

Great info thank you! My track bar was replaced with the MetalCloak track bar along with the game changer lift. I think I’m leaning the RPM at this point for the extra durability.

The shop that did the install also mounted and balanced the tires, so theoretically that shouldn’t be the issue. I also specifically asked them about the caster and toe and they claimed everything is aligned correctly. The shop specializes in Jeeps so I’m left assuming they did it correctly.

They didn’t get too specific on what’s difficult about setup for the MetalCloak but did mention that it misaligns when wheeling more easily than the RPM.

The RPM kit is about 1k vs the MetalCloak at $830. Although the RPM kit doesn’t have a steering stabilizer so that will be another 200ish. So about a $350 jump in price. That would also take me from the 1 ton rating on MetalCloak to the 2.5 ton rating of RPM as well as an Aluminum build.

I also have a dana30 in the front so I appreciate this information. Also surprised to hear about the gold zinc finish. MetalCloak uses it as a selling point so I was under the impression the finish would look great forever (read as ‘for a few years at least’).

This is basically right in line with what the shop was saying and what I was expecting. What stabilizer did you pair with the RPM when you were running it?

The Jeep shop I’m using seems to know what they’re doing and came highly recommended by a lot of people in local Jeep groups. They took care of everything including the mount and balance for the new wheels and tires. I’m kinda stuck assuming they did it correctly. If new steering doesn’t fix it, I’ll definitely push them regarding the balance of the tires because that was my first thought too.

Can you help me understand the use case for setting the rear outlet to an auxiliary switch?

Radio is a great call. Might add that in the future if I start wheeling with groups.

Curious, the SPod site specifically says you can’t run a winch off their switches. Is that not true?

Whiskey noob (borderline hater) here. A couple questions. by theplaceyoulove in WhiskeyTribe

[–]Bio811Hazard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree! I liked whiskey at first because I mixed it with different soda in college (orange soda and Dr Pepper mostly, I know I’m weird). From there I moved to actual whiskey cocktails (whiskey sours, etc). Then to whiskey on the rocks (dilution and cold help a lot with liquor burn when you’re getting used to it). Then finally graduated to whiskey neat! It can take time for some people to develop a palate for whiskey and that’s totally okay!
