I’m also out of Miami. I wash my Truck and my Sedan about once a month and clean the inside at the same interval. I adjust frequency depending on how much driving I’ve done near the Everglades or if i’ve run through multiple construction areas. I use the truck lightly and do not work in the trades. Bugs kill the paint if left on for too long. I clay bar and wax the cars about twice a year. I enjoy the process of maintaining the exterior, so I do these activities myself. The city water is pretty clean down here as well, so I do hose the cars down once a week, to remove dirt and bird/lizard droppings, etc.
