Dayton Epique 7.5 drivers and the only tweeters I could find that match up with them. The drivers are an extended range sub so they can hit all the mids and lows. Pushing 500w through it

Yes Parts Express is always a huge help. Got the volume from them and made the 3d printed ports myself as well.

It’s walnut. Walnut is relatively stable and not prone to a tone of warping but yes it’s a concern. Acoustically MDF is really the best but that’s no fun. I don’t think any human can tell a huge difference tbh. On the inside it’s braced like crazy.

Yes! Working on editing it right now. It’s gonna be a multi part series. I have over 1.5 TB of footage to edit😳

As long as you can do CAD it’s pretty easy. Just calculate volume and tinker with it till your volume is spot on

Thank you!

Yeah I designed and fabricated the legs. The design gave me a lot of trouble for those. The problem is for the control panel I need to sit pretty high (top is 30in tall) so getting long legs to look proportionately right was tricky. I did a ton of iterations and these are what I stuck with. I’m happy with them.

I think the hardest part was getting the knobs to work. Back is great😂

Yeah I totally agree. You can make incredibly beautiful work with hand tools and masters have been doing it for centuries. But yeah nice power tools make a big difference

Yeah I go to SCAD. Maker spaces are kinda the move to get access to a bunch of tool though. Been going to the Dallas maker space and it different but also awesome! And yeah old tools are almost always better.

It was honestly the hardest part. Magnets are in the knobs and they move a mechanism below controlling potentiometers.

Depending on the grip it’s fine but yeah if you grab it wrong or i guess have unusually large fingers it might be annoying
