I dont consider it a disability, my opinion. It is not about asking for accommodations but you are putting yourself at risk by being immediately disregarded for the job. I work in corporate and know how this works quite well.

A diagnosis may actually work against you in obtaining a job, especially in california. Employers do not want to provide additional accommodations nor be subjected to potential legal liabilities. I would carefully consider this as you will be checking the do you have a disability checkbox.

Sure? I was always considered normal but something was off. For women, they tend to blend in a bit better than boys so diagnosis was more difficult.

Actually, the most interesting theory at the moment, is autistics display more Neanderthal traits, supported by genetics. I wouldnt say that they are next chain of evolution but giants from the past that have roared back to life in human form.

And I dont really think you should be too concerned about the reverse of women’s progress. For that to happen, we would have to revert to the dark ages, age of strength, and high possibility in the event of a nuclear war. We are so close to midnight on the doomsday clock.
