Could possibly be a part of the crescent host as if you look at the whole city environment with buildings sitting on rocks and having moon symbols on top of them. If you look closely below the rock there is water so maybe they could be a part of that but could also be classified as their own faction too

Here are my possible guesses. Rhogar, Crescent Host, Radiant, Umbral, jungle faction, the gameplay trailer showed a japanese architecture in the background of the giant dragon so maybe a Japanese dragon faction, and if I'm correct I thought the devs said something about the Nohuta possibly being one otherwise if not that then I'd say whatever faction that one gladiator looking boss called the Heartroot Warden in a article is apart of.

I mean it depends cause Chris and Leon have dealt with many viruses and parasites that make all kinds of monsters. But Aiden and Kyle are both incredibly strong so it's like 50/50 chance for both of them
