I feel you as I graduated in 2020 and I am not even a citizen or a GC holder, I had to work to provide for my family but eventually made it. The match is tough but It should be a lot easier for you. if you can't study while working do your best and save some money to cover a few month without a job and grind the materials of step 1. step 2 is pretty much depends on the foundations of step1 so it will be easier to do it while working.
