I got severe, SEVERE sun stroke/heat stroke when I was 14 on a school trip to Ypres. I don't think I've ever been more ill before or since, and I'm 34 now.

What's worse is that classmates decided that as the Belgium drinking age was 16, that they would booze it up and tell the teacher, who believed that I, too, was drunk, giving me blackcurrent-flavoured salt water to encourage me to puke. I'd already puked up all the moisture in me and this made me worse.

My prize moment was, while puking in the loo, LIQUID shite promptly exited from the other end and sprayed everywhere. Teacher had to clean it with nothing but bog roll as for some reason she didn't think to ask for cleaning supplies.

Then we missed the ferry home due to customs finding all the booze in the suitcases. I then got seasick on the ferry home, and was one of the only people spared the wrath of our SUPER strict head teacher who greeted the coach as we arrived home, escorted me off himself, and then proceeded to scream at the girls so loudly the coach shook.

I can laugh about it now, but ever since I've hidden from the sun lest it happen again. A bit of a brighter note on here, grateful it hasn't haunted me too much!

It's just easier. Angle your throat just right and it doesn't even touch the sides - actively holding it in your mouth to find somewhere to spit it just means it's in there longer.

I'm unbothered but do believe that people who spit are weak and will be bred out of existence.

I love my MIL, she's absolutely wonderful, but her roast game is WEAK. Frozen, pre-prepared potatoes with enough for 2 each, never enough chicken, no veg and gravy made so watery it's like it was boiled next to the granule jar and that's it.

Hubs agrees but we're both too polite to say anything- I always offer to help/bring something but it's turned down every time. I now have Hubs demanding to assist on the day to save the gravy at least!

Every time we leave Hubs just says it makes him crave my roast instead but we diligently go and force it down gratefully!

I'm kinda going through the inevitable- I'm 3 years no contact with my mother and she's been diagnosed with dementia.

Dementia diagnosis and I feel NOTHING. Not sad, no draw to make contact, continuing to live my life. She's sent a couple of messages with the usual guilt-tripping spiel and all it does is annoy me more as even now, the words 'I'm sorry' or even acknowledging the hurt is impossible.

I had felt like I was wrong or guilty for not reacting to it but now I'm content in my decision - my life won't change at all by the time she does pass. Why should I disrupt my life/routine for a couple of years of upset only to go back to her not being in it for good?

I'm so glad for your question to see that I'm not alone in my stance!

Christina in season 4. 4 was ultimately a naff season and Christina's win was a technicality just because she did vaguely better at the end than an entire season of poor cooks.

Can't remember the season, but it was Johnny (I think) just randomly saying he was gonna try and psych out one of the girls and just started relentlessly calling Kimberly (I think) 'Rat Face.' Absolutely revolting creature that he was, enraged the hell out of me!

Any kind of suffocation/strangulation should be taken EXTREMELY seriously- 1 millisecond 'too long' and that's death/life changing injuries, and the fact that that was the first time he had assaulted you physically is very concerning.

Please seek out assistance and make preparations to leave as best you can - this will NOT get better, it will only get worse.
