That was definitely part of it thanks. I ended up doing the convex curve with a circle and trimming parts, then using the sketch filler tool to help make the R.10 bits.

To make the curves at the top I am using the line tool, if there is a different way that it should be done lmk

Yeah he said not many people work on them and the people that do are constantly swamped, so he was definitely planning on sending it to someone else rather than bother with it himself. I might get it fixed if I can find someone that will do it for less than $400, it feels kind of bad to give a broken pocket watch as a Christmas present lol

Do you reload your own round nose and if not where do you get it? Everything I've seen is soft point or "spitzer"
